The Genuis Behind "Blue Rose"

I've already told you that "Blue Rose" isn't actually my story. It's a story my friend wrote from the time she was 11 to the time she was 14. She hand-wrote it, then burned the manuscript for reasons that will not be disclosed. Some of our other friends and I have been trying to get her to rewrite it for a long time now because it is a gut-wrenchingly perfect story. She kept saying no, so I threatened that I would write it and it would be completely different from her initial story and it would drive her crazy. Well, I've been asking her endless questions about "Blue Rose" as a form of research and decided that it would be unfair to this beautiful novel for me to do that. So I've gotten my friend to agree to collaborate with me on it. To my darling Hannah: It's on the internet now. No going back. We are about to make history.
